Join us for a conversation between two women on the frontline of the pandemic in Minneapolis: Jennifer Vongroven, a bedside nurse at Hennepin County Medical Center, and Agatha Lamin, a nursing assistant at the Jones-Harrison senior home. The conversation will be moderated by Zac Farber, the former editor of the Southwest Journal, who recorded Vongroven’s and Lamin’s stories as part of the paper’s “Voices from the Pandemic” project.
About Voices from the Pandemic:
“Voices from the Pandemic” is a community reporting project launched by the staff of the Southwest Journal newspaper that documents the pandemic’s toll by recording the personal stories of Minneapolis residents and workers whose daily lives are in a state of flux. Eighteen local residents have shared their stories, and some participants have been interviewed more than a dozen times.
