Employer Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs that double charitable contributions made by their employees. Reach out to your employer’s Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility department to inquire about employer matching gifts and how to submit a request.

Distributions from Donor Advised Funds and Private Foundations

You can make a distribution to Hennepin History Museum from your private foundation or donor advised fund. Simply direct your financial institution to send the gift via check to the below address, or contact claire.lesliejohnson@hennepinhistory.org for direct deposit information.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to transfer up to $111,000 annually from your IRA account directly to Hennepin History Museum without first having to recognize the distribution as income. A qualifying rollover distribution can also count towards your required minimum distribution.

Planned Giving

You can choose to include a gift to Hennepin History Museum in your will or revocable trust, ensuring your values and generosity endure for generations to come.
