To donate stock, contact Claire Leslie Johnson, Development Manager, at 612-767-5621 or claire.lesliejohnson@hennepinhistory.org.  Hennepin History Museum will provide the necessary information for your broker and at that time will ask for the name of the securities you are transferring and the number of shares or approximate dollar amount. This information will assist Hennepin History Museum in processing your donation and ensure you receive proper and timely credit for your donation.

Employee Matching Gift

Your current or former employer may double the impact of your gift! Check with your Human Resources department to find out if your company has a matching gift program.

IRA Charitable Rollover

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to transfer up to $100,000 annually from your IRA account directly to Hennepin History Museum without first having to recognize the distribution as income. A qualifying rollover distribution can also count towards your required minimum distribution.

Distributions from Charitable Trusts or Funds

You can make a distribution to Hennepin History Museum from your private foundation or donor-advised fund.

Planned Giving
