Hennepin History Museum presents Hennepin Fest, a women-led music festival celebrating the diverse history and culture of our community!

This free outdoor festival features music and spoken word by local women artists, including (2025 line-up):

Family Friendly Event

Hennepin Fest is a family friendly event. Kid friendly activities will be available in the Vendor Village. No alcohol will be served at this event.

Seating & Accessibility

Limited park bench seating only. Camp chairs and picnic blankets encouraged.

A paved walking path provides access to the Vendor Village, ADA accessible portable toilets, and park benches with sightlines to the stage.

Parking & Transportation

Please take note of road closures on 1st Avenue and 3rd Avenue between 22nd and 24th streets. Biking, busing, and carpooling strongly encouraged to reduce traffic congestion.

  • Bus – The festival is located near several MetroTransit bus routes.
  • Bike – Bike parking is available at Hennepin History Museum (2303 3rd Ave S).
  • Personal Vehicle – Free on-street parking and paid parking lots are available within 1-3 blocks of the park.

We will be photographing and filming guests throughout the event. By participating, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction for museum purposes.
