Join us for our new walking tour in collaboration with the St. Louis Park Historical Society – “Skunk Hollow: The Story of a Swamp” – which shines a light on the history of industrial pollution in the city of St. Louis Park.
The walking tour follows the transformation of a region from land and water, to industrial suburb connected by rail, to thriving residential and commercial hub. More in-depth information is provided about the manufacturing practices that led to widespread groundwater contamination in the mid-20th century and the subsequent clean-up. This tour will focus on the northern portion of the former industrial site.
The group will meet near Park Tavern, 3401 Louisiana Ave S, St. Louis Park, at 1:00 p.m., and will conclude by 2:30p.m. Please check back for updated information about the starting location for this tour.

- Refunds: Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the walking tour are eligible for a refund (minus processing charges) or may be exchanged for another tour. Cancellations received within 24 hours of departure, no shows, or late arrivals are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
