Special HHM Member Event
Join Hennepin History Museum as we continue to explore the theme of local horticultural history that has shaped our region. Learn about local gardening clubs from members of the Richfield Garden Club Council over light refreshments and watch a live demonstration of container gardens that you can make at home (and a chance to win one!).
The Richfield Garden Club Council (RGCC) was founded in 1938, the same year as Hennepin History Museum, and continues to promote the work of the club for its 84th year. The RGCC is a group of people that enjoy nature, gardening, community, floral design and conservation of our environment. It is a part of the Federated Garden Clubs of Minnesota; its plant sales and other fundraising activities contribute to the FGCM’s Scholarship fund for horticulture, forestry, and landscape design degree programs.
