Please join us to celebrate the Tibetan community in Minnesota as well as the 90th birthday this month of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The afternoon will feature a chanting and meditation demonstration as well as singing and dancing in traditional costumes by the members of the local Tibetan Ü-Tsang Dance Group, who has represented Tibetan culture from the South-Central heartland province of Ü-Tsang in Minnesota for over 25 years. The program will conclude with a ceremony over the prayer flags that have been gracing the museum grounds since July 2023.
