A message about COVID-19:
After careful consideration, we have decided to cancel the Archive Inventory Blitz on March 21.
HHM cares deeply about the health and safety of our visitors, staff, volunteers, interns, and community. In response to ongoing concerns around COVID-19, Hennepin History Museum is closed to the public until at least March 31.
We hope to reschedule the Archive Inventory Blitz at a later date. Please watch our website and social media for announcements.
Volunteer for an inventory blitz in the archives! Work alongside staff to catalog boxes of letters, photographs, documents and more. In honor of Suffrage Saturday and Women’s History Month, we will work on collections that highlight the lives of women. Selected collections cover a wide range of topics, such as women’s education and girlhood in the early twentieth century, female globetrotters, belly dancers, and one photographer’s images of her favorite feline companion. No experience necessary.
