Be a virtual cast member in “The Cabinet Meeting” by Suffrage Artist in Residence Madeline Hansen. This reader’s theater play is based on the premise that Susan B. Anthony is elected U.S. President and appoints a talented group of women to her cabinet. A fun and inspiring way to learn about women’s history, the play celebrates women leaders of diverse backgrounds and periods of American history, and considers both what they achieved and what has yet to be accomplished.
On July 30, Madeline will premier the “WHHM Radio Play” version of “The Cabinet Meeting” in a special class conducted via telephone. This innovative experiment in remote programming provides a safe way to venture away from your computer screen and connect with other history enthusiasts. Participants will receive their script and a special “Suffrage Swag Bag” in the mail prior to the play.
